Vivo 22.5 W powerbanka s logem

Vivo has just introduced a new portable power bank that weighs only 181 grams and has a thickness of 1.5 cm. Despite its relatively compact body, it offers a battery capacity of 10,000 mAh and 22.5W output. The built-in USB-C cable is also a pleasant surprise, allowing two devices to be charged simultaneously.

The power bank also supports common fast charging standards such as QC 2.0, PPS, and PD 3.0. The company further states that, for example, it can charge an iPhone 16 to 53% in half an hour. The Vivo X200S phone itself can be charged to approximately one-third of its capacity in the same amount of time.

It should be noted, however, that these figures are more indicative values, which may turn out to be a few percent slower in practice.

Regarding safety features, the power bank offers basic protection, including protection against overcharging, overvoltage, and short circuits. Users will be informed about the power bank’s battery status by LED indicators.

Overall, this power bank appears to be a weaker, lighter, and logically also cheaper variant of the one that Vivo introduced at the end of May this year; the parameters are very similar, with the main difference being in the output. The previously introduced power bank offered a total of 33W output.

Vivo power bank is cheap, but availability is unclear

The power bank will officially arrive on Chinese markets on July 2nd with a pleasant price of 99 yuan, which is approximately 300 Kč in conversion. In this price category, its features are very decent; competing power banks often start at a similar price but offer slower charging or are heavier.

Unfortunately, it is not yet clear whether the power bank will also make it to international markets, but if it does, the price can be expected to increase slightly. However, if it stays below the 400 to 500 Kč mark, it will still be a decent, undemanding candidate.

What do you think of this new Vivo power bank? Do you think it makes sense?
